Our most popular ride. Our ranch is just around a corner from thousands of acres of desert. It's a nice scenery, with flat dirt roads, some hills, a small lake, tons of Joshua Trees and two vista points. These are perfect training grounds if you want to work on your trail riding skills or just enjoy a nice ride.

We offer rides for up to 3 riders per guide. If your party is larger than that, you can book multiple rides at the same time.

All rides are private- it will be only you, your group, and the guide(s). All of our guides are excellent riders with an average of over 15 years of riding experience. They are qualified to help you improve your riding skills and to keep you safe.

We used to ask you to pick your riding level. From now on, instead we will ask you to choose what type of horses you want to ride:

  • Trail horses-  a go to choice for anyone from a beginner to an experienced rider who wants a nice, relaxing ride with moments of speed. The horses will be easy to ride, yet fit enough to be fun.
  • Endurance horses- pick only if you can handle the heat! These horses mean business. We will go out on trails and move at a moderate pace for most of the rides. Choose this option if you are comfortable trotting for the larger part of the ride with moments of canter. You must be at least an intermediate who requires no instruction. We will get on, and get going.
  • Fresians and Andalusians- if just like us, you can appreciate the beauty and movement of these magnificent breeds- this option is right for you. You do not get to pick a particular horse, but we guarantee it will be either a Fresian or an Andalusian. These horses are big, magnificent, and powerful. They are also extremely valuable. We take extra precautions with these horses. You can expect a calm to moderate pace with moments of trot and canter. These horses are not recommended for beginners.
  • Stallions- if you want to experience the true force of nature, book a trail ride on one of our stallions. You will get to pick which one you want to ride. These rides are restricted to very confident, intermediate+ rides. We will only take one rider at the time, no exceptions. You cannot combine this ride with other riders riding other horses. Photo opportunities included.

What you should know:

  • Helmets are required at all times
  • The pace of the ride is up to you. We will not pressure you to ride faster than you are comfortable
  • We only use english saddles. We do not offer western.
  • We have 3 riding arenas available, and you can spend a portion of your ride in those arenas to get comfortable.
  • There is one road we need to cross to get to the trails. If you don't feel comfortable doing so, we can trailer the horses past that road for an additional charge. Subject to availability of our trucks and trailers
  • You can take as many pictures and videos as you would like. We can take some for you as well and send them to you after the ride

How to dress?

  • Prioritize your comfort and safety over style
  • Wear boots that are less than 5 inches wide or else they won’t fit in the stirrups
  • no steel toes please- you don’t want your feet stuck in the stirrups
  • do not wear anything baggy that could either get caught up on the saddle or flop and scare horses
  • do not wear perfumes- it may spook horses
  • jeans or riding pants recommended- you will be rubbing agains the saddle a lot so wear something to protect you from that
