Cancellation Policy

As a small business at SoCal Horse Adventures, we deeply value your support. Our horses need consistent care, and your cooperation with our cancellation policy plays a crucial role in helping us provide the best possible experience for all our guests.

Ride Credit Refunds: Given that many of our customers plan their rides months in advance, we offer refunds in the form of ride credits. This policy helps us manage the challenges of rebooking rides on short notice. To request a ride credit refund, please email info@socalhorseadventures.com using the email associated with your booking and include your order number. A gift card will be issued for future reservations.

Cancellation Deadlines: Cancellations must be made within the following timeframes to be eligible for ride credit refunds:
- Lessons: At least 1 business day in advance.
- Trail rides starting at our ranch: At least 2 business days in advance.
- All other bookings: At least 5 business days in advance.
- if you arrive more than 20 minutes late to your ride, it will be cancelled without a refund. 


Overnight events: All reservations are non-refundable. Reservations can be transferred to another person, after our approval. Approval of the reservation transfer is at our discretion and depends on whether we find the riding level of the person you are transferring the reservation to appropriate.

Additional Guidelines:
- Weather: We ride in all weather conditions. Cancellations or rescheduling due to weather concerns must be within the required advance notice periods.
- Group Rides: Please be punctual for group rides. Late arrivals forfeit eligibility for ride credits.
- Private Rides & Lessons: Latecomers to private bookings will have their session shortened, with no adjustment in ride credits.
