Terms and Conditions for Memberships at The SoCal Elite Riders Club
Welcome to The SoCal Elite Riders Club! To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, the following terms and conditions apply to all memberships. By signing up, you agree to these terms.
1. Membership Commitment and Payments
1.1. All memberships require an initial commitment of six (6) months. After this period, memberships will continue on a month-to-month basis unless canceled.
1.2. Membership fees are billed monthly and must be paid in full before the start of each billing cycle.
1.3. Membership prices are guaranteed for the first twelve (12) months and may be subject to change thereafter with at least thirty (30) days' written notice.
2. Membership Tiers and Upgrades
2.1. Members may upgrade their membership tier at any time to access additional benefits.
2.2. Temporary upgrades are available for members seeking additional riding time, but discounts and competition access apply only to permanent tier memberships.
3. Safety and Horse Welfare
3.1. Members must prioritize the safety and well-being of all horses and riders at all times.
3.2. Any behavior deemed unsafe or detrimental to the horses or other members may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.
4. Classes, Rides, and Usage
4.1. Classes, lessons, rides, and other services included in the membership are non-transferable and valid only for the registered member.
4.2. Classes, rides, and other services do not roll over if unused within the allocated time frame.
4.3. Classes may be conducted as private or small group sessions at the discretion of the club.
5. Competitions and Additional Costs
5.1. Horses may be available for competitions, but availability and costs will be determined on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
5.2. Costs related to competitions, including but not limited to horse transport, shoeing, and entry fees, are the responsibility of the member.
6. Membership Suspension and Termination
6.1. Members may suspend their membership once per calendar year for a maximum of one (1) month. Suspensions must be requested in writing at least two (2) weeks in advance.
6.2. Early termination of the six-month commitment is only permitted if the member relocates more than 150 miles from the ranch. Proof of relocation is required.
6.3. Membership termination requests must be submitted in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to the desired cancellation date.
7. Club Policies and Conduct
7.1. Members are expected to adhere to all club policies, respect the staff, and maintain a positive environment.
7.2. Any form of harassment, misconduct, or violation of club rules may result in immediate membership termination without refund.
8. Refund Policy
8.1. Membership fees are non-refundable.
8.2. Refunds for prepaid months will only be considered in cases of relocation as outlined in Section 6.2.
9. Liability Waiver
9.1. Horseback riding involves inherent risks. By joining the club, members acknowledge these risks and agree to release The SoCal Elite Riders Club and its staff from any liability for injuries, accidents, or damages incurred while participating in club activities.
9.2. Members must sign a separate liability waiver before their first lesson or ride.
10. Miscellaneous
10.1. The club reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions with thirty (30) days' written notice.
10.2. Membership benefits, schedules, and activities may vary based on availability, weather conditions, and other factors.
