Why SoCal Horse Adventures?

We’ve built a training program that’s focused on creating real, capable riders — not just people who sit on horses. Our ranch is known for taking students from day one all the way to competing, trail riding, or going on adventures they never thought possible. Riders from LA and beyond make the trip out to train with us — because it’s worth it.

We offer access to things most lesson barns don’t:

• Real trail adventures across California and the Southwest
• Endurance rides through deserts, canyons, and mountains
• Exposure to working equitation, show jumping, and classical horsemanship
• A team of skilled, passionate trainers who care deeply about every horse and rider

If you want to just hop on a horse once a month and walk around — this isn’t the place. But if you want to become a capable, confident rider and take part in unforgettable horse adventures, you're in the right spot.

How Lessons Work

We offer lessons by monthly subscription only, because real progress and safe riding require consistency.

🟤 Intro Lesson – $120 (Optional but Recommended)

Before jumping into regular lessons, we encourage new students to take a 90-minute intro session. This is a one-on-one experience where we introduce you to our approach and make sure you’re comfortable.

What’s included in the intro lesson:

• Safe horse handling
• Basics of groundwork
• How to tack up and care for your horse
• A full ranch tour
• About 30 minutes of riding under saddle

Monthly Lesson Subscriptions

Once you're ready to move forward, choose a monthly plan based on your availability and goals. Once subscribed, you'll get a private link to schedule your sessions. Lessons are offered Monday–Friday and must be booked individually week to week depending on our availability. We don’t hold fixed time slots.

Lessons do not roll over into the next month unless we agree in advance (for example, if you’re traveling).
