Let's go riding and do it your way. This is the best trail riding experience you can possibly find in California. We will come to your location of choice with our trailer, and we will bring the best trained and conditioned horses that you ever rode. Do you want to canter for 2 hours straight? We're down. Want to do a longer, relaxed ride with a picnic and spots to take photos? Let's do it. These rides are private- it's just one guide, you, and our horses.

These rides are not for first- time riders! We offer lessons at our ranch if you've never ridden before. It is ok if you're a beginner but you must understand the basics and you must have done at least 20 or so prior rides/ lessons.

How does it work?

  1. Pick your spot and date
  2. Pick your time- we only do one ride per day. But you can choose whether its a morning or an evening ride
  3. We will chat a bit about your experience and expectations and we will tailor the ride to you
  4. We meet you at the location with our best horses. It's the only thing us and our horses will do that day. We will be fresh, and excited.
  5. We go and ride at your pace. Our horses are extremely fit and capable of doing more than 50 fast paced miles a day. All of the horses that we bring to these rides have actual endurance competition experience
  6. Yes, we will trot, canter and even gallop- as long as you're skilled enough to do so safely. Absolutely no bouncing in the saddle allowd.
  7. You can choose to book for 1, 2, or 3 people. But if you are an experienced rider, we don't recommend bringing friends that you are not sure can keep up with you. For everyone's safety we have to adjust the pace of the ride to the slowest rider in the group. If you want a larger group- reach out to us. We do have a lot of horses, but we have to plan ahead to have them available.
  8. Bring backpacks with water and snacks to get you through the day. Sunglasses and bandanas recommended for dust. Wear hiking or trail running boots' shoes. Dressage boots are great for the arena, but not for trails.

The locations

  1. San Fernando Valley- a beautiful ride with moderate hills and views of the valley. Partially covered with a forest, featuring lots of flat spots to canter. It's an easy ride that does not require a lot of previous experience. But we can make it very fast paced and exciting even for very experienced riders.
  2. Simi Valley- a big, scenic hill climb. It's a difficult ride. You have to be a very confident rider. We will be climbing steep rocks and we will climb a summit with an amazing view of the valley. There is not a lot of open spots to gallop, but we can make this ride very fast paced with lots of trot and some canter. It's the best endurance training ride we do.
  3. Malibu- Ocean breeze, big hills to climb, beautiful valleys in the middle, and a river to cross- one of our favorite rides. It's a long and intense ride. Having lots of access to water allows us to ride really fast for extended periods- horses will cool down and refuel in the meantime. We do not recommend this ride to beginners, but if you're a confident rider with decent stamina you will love every second of it.
  4. Santa Ana- Hills and ocean views. This ride is not very technical or difficult, but there is a lot of open space to ride really fast. It's a good fit for both beginners and very experienced riders.
  5. Norco- Horse Town USA- this is a fun one. We will do a nice, long ride in the hills and then go down to the most horse-friendly town in the country. We can grab lunch at one of the restaurants that offer tie downs. Every sidewalk in town is horse friendly, and every store has a tie down post. A fun adventure that will make you feel like you're living in the wild west. No beginners please.
  6. Palmdale- our home. Flat ride in the desert, great training grounds to ride FAST FAST FAST or get a feel for what riding with us is, before committing to a larger ride. A grill available, and you're welcomed to hang out at the ranch after the ride.
  7. Burbank- lots of open space with quite a lot of hills. Good spots for gallop and water available on trails to recharge horses. Scenic views of LA- a great ride.

If you want to know more about the locations, ask us. We can send you pictures and recommendations.

The rules

We have a few rules, that are very important to keeping everyone safe.

    1. Keep your distance- we make sure to keep at least 6 feet between the horses
    2. No bouncing on horses- we love riding fast, but never at the expense of our horses. If you are not able to be soft on the horses back, we will not allow you to trot or canter. If you're unsure- come for a lesson first
    3. Soft hands- our horses are very fine tuned and responsive. Please do not hurt them by riding with constant pressure
    4. Guided riding- we do not rent horses out. Our guide will be riding with you at all rimes
  1. Helmets are required- most people bring their own but we have some available as well.
  2. Please, let us know in advance if one of your group members cannot make it. We cannot leave a horse behind. If one of the people in the party do not show up, the ride will be cancelled without a refund. If you give us a few hours heads up- this won't be a problem. We will just leave the extra horse at the ranch.
  3. Consider coming on your own if you are not sure if your friends can keep up- you can bring them next time.
  4. Bring your hiking boots and tons of water. Dress to protect yourself from the sun. We may have to hike besides horses for considerable distance if trail conditions are not great. Check the weather beforehand and if you think it may be too hot/ cold/ rainy etc. reach out to reschedule.
  5. We will be riding in a remote area with potentially difficult access to medical services. Be ready for that.
  6. Horses safety is our priority. We never had an injury on a trail. But if we did, we would jump off and walk the horses back to the trailer.
  7. Have fun- we hope that this will be the best ride of your life
