For Adult Beginner–Intermediate Riders

Lessons, trail rides, bonding time with horses- join us for an unforgettable week at our ranch and spend over 20 hours with a horse in 5 days.

Spend five full days immersed in horses, riding, and real hands-on learning. This clinic is designed for people who are physically fit and comfortable with a challenge. You don’t need riding experience, but you do need to be athletic—able to stay active all day, handle physical tasks around the barn, and ride for several hours at a time. Expect long days, sore muscles, and a huge sense of accomplishment. The entire week is structured to truly accelerate your learning—by working with the same horse every day, riding consistently, and building real-life experience both in and out of the saddle. If you enjoy pushing yourself and want a real taste of what it’s like to live the horse life, this week is for you. You can expect to improve your riding more in this one week than you would normally over months of lessons.

You will end up spending more than 20 hours with your horse over the course of 5 days. And it will change your riding forever.

Schedule Overview

Day 1
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Groundwork Session (Group)
We start on the ground—not just because it’s safer, but because that’s where real trust starts. You’ll learn how to communicate with your horse in a way that builds confidence, respect, and connection. This session sets the tone for the rest of the clinic.

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Riding Lesson: The Foundations
We’ll focus on rider posture, balance, and how to use your aids (legs, seat, hands) with clarity and consistency. A solid foundation means everything in the saddle.

Day 2
8:00 AM – 11:00 AM | Long Reins (Private, 1hr/person)
Long reins are an amazing way to feel the horse’s movement and balance from the ground. It’ll help you understand how your aids guide the horse without being on their back. It’s one of the best tools for developing feel and coordination.

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Riding Lesson: Intro to Working Equitation
Working Equitation is one of the most fun and effective ways to become a better rider. It combines precision, obstacle work, and real-world skills. You'll work through patterns and learn how to guide your horse with purpose and finesse.

Day 3
8:00 AM – 10:00 AM | Intro to Show Jumping
No stress, no pressure. We’ve developed a low-key way to introduce jumping that’s fun and empowering. You’ll start with ground poles and easy exercises to build confidence and technique step by step.

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Group Trail Ride
Time to take it outside. We’ll go on a relaxing ride through the hills to let horses stretch their legs and riders enjoy the scenery. Trail riding is what it’s all about—freedom, trust, and fun.

Day 4
8:00 AM – 10:00 AM | Working Equitation: With Obstacles & Jumps
A more advanced session building on what you’ve already learned, with added challenges and refinement.

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Friendly Competition
We’ll put your new skills to the test in a laid-back Working Equitation challenge. It’s a great way to push yourself a bit and cheer each other on.

7:00 PM | Bonfire & BBQ
Food, laughs, stories from the week. A good way to relax and celebrate.

Day 5
11:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Long Trail Ride
We finish big—with a long trail ride that brings it all together. You’ll ride with confidence, handle terrain with ease, and feel how far you’ve come in just a few days.
